Charles Dariane is Associate Professor at Université Paris Cité and consultant in urological surgery, specialising in onco-urology at HEGP-Necker. Minimally invasive surgery, particularly robotic surgery, is performed on a daily basis (total or partial nephrectomy, radical prostatectomy, prostatic adenomectomy, total cystectomy
, junction cure, ureteral reimplantation…), with an educational interest linked to the double console and the possibility of commenting surgical videos.
Dr Dariane specialises in the management of prostate cancer, from biopsies to medical management (targeted biopsies using echo/MRI image fusion, optimised patient circuit around hormone therapy, prevention of bone complications from hormone therapy….) and surgical (robot-assisted prostatectomy, prostate brachytherapy), and it also researcher on castration-resistant prostate progenitor cells, within the INSERM U1151 unit at the Institut Necker Enfants-Malades (INEM).
